The Society offers an Adult Day Program three days per week throughout the year. The program provides a structured range of activities and programs designed to maintain client abilities and provide a social outing for those living with cognitive/physical challenges.
The program also provides respite for caregivers and a means to acclimatize clients to higher levels of service that might become necessary in the future.
Limited transportation is provided within close proximity to the program as resources are limited.
Access to the Adult Day Program is achieved through assessment and referral by IH (Island Health). The client pays a small fee and IH subsidizes the balance of the cost for the program.
The Adult Day Program runs Tuesday to Thursday each week.
